Chenille Sofa Mat

A sofa mat is a flat fabric cover that lies over the seat, backrest or armrests of a sofa to protect it from dust, spills and wear. It is easier to put on than a full fitted cover and instantly changes how the sofa looks. Our range includes seat mats, backrest covers and armrest covers in bohemian designs with fringe.

A sofa cover is fitted over the whole sofa, while a sofa mat only covers specific parts like the seat, backrest or armrests. A throw is a larger piece that is draped loosely over the sofa. Choose a mat if you want a quick, low-effort update or only need to protect the parts that get the most use.

Our seat cover mats come in set sizes: 70 x 90 cm for a 1 seater, 70 x 140 cm for a 2 seater, 70 x 180 cm for a 3 seater and 70 x 230 cm for a 4 seater. Backrest covers are 70 x 90 cm and armrest covers are 70 x 50 cm (pack of 2). Measure your seat width and depth before ordering.

Yes. For an L-shaped sofa, you can place separate mats on each section, such as one on each seat and one at the corner. Measure the length of every section first and combine sizes, for example a 3 seater mat on the long side and a 2 seater mat on the shorter side. Armrest and backrest covers can be added for a matching look.

It depends on the product. Some of our boho sofa covers are listed as non-slip, so check the product title or description before buying. For flat mats, a non-slip rug pad placed under the mat helps stop it from sliding. Also, choose a size that matches your seat properly, since a mat that is too small shifts more easily.

Most fabric sofa mats can be washed at home, but always follow the care label on the product you buy. As a general rule, use cold water and a gentle cycle, and put fringed mats in a laundry bag so the tassels do not tangle. Dry in shade and avoid high heat, which can damage the fabric and fringe.

Sofa mats and covers at Magic In Home start at around ₹520 for a backrest cover and go up to about ₹4,259 for larger 3 and 4 seater boho covers. The price depends on the size, the design and the current offer. Free shipping is available on orders above ₹999, and returns are easy.
